The McElroy Pit Bull® 14 Fusion Machine is called the workhorse of the McElroy machines because of its versatility and endurance. The PitBull 14 is compact and lightweight, incorporating McElroy’s patented Centerline Guidance System, which is designed to butt fusion tees, ells and other fittings with consistent, high-end results for pipe sizes 1” – 4“. The Pit Bull 14 is primarily made of surface hardened aluminum to keep it light-weight and durable. This machine’s semi-automatic locking cam system maintains force during the cooling cycle by locking the moveable jaw in place.

Our Story
My name is Ben Murphy, Founder & CEO of Poly Pipe Solutions. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my company.
My career in the thermoplastic pipe and fusion equipment industry began in 2013 when I became a Technical Service Specialist for McElroy Manufacturing. My job was to educate equipment owners, salesmen, operators, and technicians, and optimize their experiences with McElroy fusion equipment.
Beyond the job, I had a mission, which was to understand the equipment and applications of use better than anyone else. I pursued that mission by operating every machine I could get my hands on, taking them apart and putting them back together, discussing technical aspects with engineers and more experienced mechanics/technicians, and by participating in every educational event or training opportunity that I was allowed to attend...
